Humble Yourself Poem by Amos de la Eve

Humble Yourself

Rating: 5.0

Humble yourself, for you to step forward.
What makes more difference between men
Can be among many other existing virtues,
The willingness to humble in proper time

Humble yourself, it is a sign of self mastery
Its is not the synonym of moral weakness
It’s an intrinsic worth and the rarest merit
But it‘s an ancient story for self-righteous

Humble yourself, even in point of strength
It has to do with how you act in responses
Whenever you can run out of your depth
And how you hold in awkward spectacles

Humble yourself, it’s an undisclosed benefit
This helps poor minds become overloaded
While a proud man remains overconfident
His option to diverse opinions get reduced

Humble yourself, if you want to be harmonious
Harmony with yourself, harmony with another
By walking very down when they are spacious
So as to differentiate as you put up with together.
