Hummingbirds
The hummingbirds as small as they may be,
they are such beautiful birds to see.
When they chase each other through the trees,
it is such a pretty site to see.
They fly around in a very great speed,
then they go to the flowers and get the nectar to give
them the energy they need.
They will stop in mid-air and stare you in the face,
it is almost as if they are asking if you want to race.

Mr. Murray. This was a nicely done exact description of the delightful behavior of hummingbirds. Aren't they so wonderful and full of antics? I thought lines 8 and 9 really were creative, stare you in the face and ask you if you want to race? A pretty bird to see did beart repeating and added unity. Loved it. I have just written a single poem Cathedral Ceiling and have been thinking I need to get busy and try to write again. It just takes a while because it doesnt seem to work unless I am inspired God Bless you real good!
