Humorous Insanity Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Do I have what it takes to write a good verse?
Do the words and the lines make good sense?
Am I writing again more words that are terse?
Or is the effort like climbing a fence?

I need to write poems to activate my Mind,
To keep me from going lazy and stale.
“Enough” say you ~~ “Oh No, please refrain”
As the Readers let out a great wail.

Each night we see poems appear on this site.
Is there no end to this Poet’s ability?
He continues to write while there’s words in his sight,
And will not cease until he has tranquillity.

How can we refuse to read what he’s wrote?
For we like the style he does us offer.
His verses they scan and often do rhyme,
And we enjoy the thoughts he us does proffer.

This Poem was hard for me to compose,
To bring humour to you for a change,
When serious thoughts I write in the main,
This Poem will drive you insane.
