Hurt
Why does it hurt so much,
To not hear from you,
As I wait with reality slipping,
Repeating please concentrate,
Hours go by,
I sit in solitude,
With these thoughts,
That won't kick away,
They build up more,
Each and everyday,
I can't watch no more,
It's all becoming a blur,
It's as if you were there,
The whole time,
Yet, when you weren't,
There at all,
Then the day comes by,
One new email appears,
It says your sorry,
For all the time it took,
To quickly write back,
As for now I see,
Again I forgive of you,
But you do it again,
Why does it hurt so much,
The first I had asked,
This time I wasn't hurt,
For this time I knew,
Of you should some how,
Never reply through days,
And many months,
Until one new message arrives,
Of the same words spoken,
I've learned to say them back,
For I will not be hurt,
By not hearing from you,
In forever,
That I felt.
