Hymn To Thanatos Poem by Kriztan Rei Palces

Hymn To Thanatos

The crowd settled and the lights grew dim
the curtains flew up and the cast are in
the musical play started with this lovely 'fella'
singing her songs in acapella

hearing her sing sends me into a trance
and i am charmed by her every glance
for years, i've been waiting for this freakin' chance
to ask you out for our third dance

we sang and danced to the music of the quartet
truly a momment that i can never forget
the laughters and stories we shared are but memories
that i will reminisce upon hearing my rhyming symphonies

BUT THEN THERE'S THIS CURSED STANZA,
THAT STRIPPED ME OFF MY LOVELY BELLA.
THIS SAME FUCKING STANZA,
THAT TURNED GRIZABELLA TO MY SHIVA.
