I Always Will Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

I Always Will

Surprise, the forest is surreal Degas
Dancers with risque balloons
Ferns as gentle as dreams
Dreams of libido poetry
Hidden streams of vernal words
Bucolic ribbons of queen blue
Rhymes of velvet truth
Personal truth with no syllogisms
Subjective as romance
Alive with stones of gardens
We rarely walk in reality
Our existence cradles myth

I miss those I drove away
Do you still read my impressions
Queen poet I love you
Come back before one of us leaves
Sometimes only sleep is peace
Sometimes only you can cry
You turned me on to poemhunter.com

Antique table strewn with books
Sun going down in the smudged window
Tonight no one will do except you
I hope things are going good
Poems are biographies or masks
Trials are sins of mine
I repent but your not here
No one laughed like you
No one could banter about broccoli
About life
Perchance if you read this I love you
I always will
