I Am....

I Am A Prisoner In My Own Mind,
A Prisoner Of My Memories,
I Can Not Escape My Past Memories
In Which That Imprisoned Me.

I Am A Prisoner I Can Not
Escape, The Path I Chose
To Walk On, That Is The Path I Will Keep
Walking, My Past Memories Will Keep
Me Imprisoned And As For The Future Memories
As They Will Become My Past In Which I Will
Be Imprisoned By, I Will Never Escape
My Mind/Memories.

I Am A Prisoner And It Is Impossible
To Escape This Prison I Am Imprisoned
By, If It Were Possible To Escape
I Would Of Broke Free, But All The
Secrets, Heartache, Dreams, Promises,
And Lie's Make It Impossible.

I Am A Prisoner In My Own Mind/Memories.

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
