I Am Advised Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

There was enough on hand
Yet I found no end
I was going ahead with it as usual
The life had become casual

It was as if I had simple duty
Sent on earth to fulfill by almighty
I knew it from the start
It had become human art

Life was to be tackled
Even though many times it troubled
Day was on and so the struggle
Yet life seemed so simple

There were parents
Brothers, sisters too were present
No one posed any threat
Life was colorful to greet

I never felt at odd
As I fared Lord
He was almost at each step
Each work was destined and capped

I am forced to perform
As life is to be fully tuned and informed
It is to be do or die approach
Life has its own color as such

I am advised by others
The load has to be shared on shoulder
It has to be suffered or enjoyed
The message is certainly conveyed
