You knew I'd live one day
And you created earth anyway
You knew I'd worship you
And in the womb I grew
You knew the world was torn
And to the earth I soon was born
You knew that people burn
And it's your ways in which I learn
You knew I'd help people relate
And new experiences you did create
You knew your laws needed to be heard
And you gave me the power of words
You knew people needed to confess
And your power is what I profess
You knew people needed new starts
And for you I grabbed up peoples' hearts
You knew my work here was done
And you sent to me your son
You knew I was ready to die
And to the Heavens I lifted my hands high
You knew I would come live with you
And into Heaven I flew
You gave me all you could give
And now it's with you that I live
