I Am India Poem by JASMINE GREWAL

I Am India

I am the country,
the country of variations,
the country of god
and his beautiful creations.

I am the mother,
the mother of billions of lads,
the mother of cultures
and religious fads.

but i am sorry,
sorry for those,
who feel ashamed
of being under my nose.

I am the country of rivers,
the country of temples,
the country colours
& shimmering glters.

My civilization is extereme and vast,
people are one
even after having different colours and castes.

My children call me their motherland,
they are the one who made me royal and grand.

My history is exiting,
my domain is good for sighting.

I am unique
& God's own coubtry
I am the INDIAN subcontinent
