'I Am More Than Life To Thee' Poem by CHRISTOPHER EBENEZER

'I Am More Than Life To Thee'

Rating: 5.0

when the horde of hell assail me
and i know not where to turn
when all around me is danger
and no free land there be to perch
when the trust of men shall fail me
and my troubles no shoulder would bear
when in darkness i fail and falter
and a guide i fail to find
when my purse is dry and arid
and my mouth craves for bread
when my life is filled with questions
and no where an answer can match
when in all these i stand and wonder
will man be left off so
in a book i find is written
'I am more than life to thee'

Very nicely written, the style in this one I find very attractive. Words of wisdom, written in an uplifting manner. I enjoyed this piece very much. Keep it up!
