I Am My Life Poem by The Silent Sword

I am my own Comfort.
I am my own Light.
I am my own Courage.
I am my own Strength.

I am my own Success.
I am my own Creation.
I am my own Alleviation.
I am all that is Peace.

I am my Greatest Ally.
I am my own Savior.
I am my Beginning.
I am my Life….

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This was inspired by my favorite pirate, Captain Cur. This is in contrast to my poem: 'I Am My Death'.

I like this :) I've just read 'I Am My Death' which was a great poem but obviously very sad and dark. Then I read this and it's just cheered me up. Try to keep thinking like this, I like how positive and uplifting it is. Keep thinking like this and you can't go wrong. (Report) Reply

Beautiful you picked the perfect words to contrast.
Now I must decide which one I like better.
Being a dead pirate, I must choose LIFE! (Report) Reply
