I Am No One
'I am no one',
He said,
'I am as the midnight sun,
I am nobody,
My body bearing none.
I am Anon,
He who would be Ammon's son,
My spirit having gone,
Thus am I undone.
I am the past,
Forgotten once hard won,
Destined not to last,
Now the race is run.
I am no one,
Being dead
In your unseeing eye,
So then stranger shun,
And pass on by'.
