I Am Not Destiny's Favourite Child Poem by Mamta Agarwal

I Am Not Destiny's Favourite Child

Rating: 5.0

I may not be
Destiny’s favourite child,
But I have no doubt
I am one of a kind.

Of my imperfections
I am not blind,

But in my strengths
I do take pride.

I am what I am
I have nothing to hide.

I am my favourite
Even I am surprised.

Don’t be narcissistic
My elders sermonise.

Love yourself
Is my motto in life.

So I move with
Confidence in my stride.

Not oblivious to his weaknesses but guided more by his strengths and self-confidence, a person can change the course of his destiny. Nicely expressed. Thanks.
