I am not yours, don't belong to you
belonging to someone is all I want
but you belong to someone else
and I could never be someone's other

You want me, but here's the reality
loving me is wrong, you know it ain't right
Don't think your words of persuasion
Will have me invite you into my life

you say, it's over, the flame faded out
this vision won't see the light of day
Everything that you are talking about
Doesn't have me swept away
This game I refuse to play
