I Am Nothing Poem by Elizabeth Shadows

I Am Nothing

I am nothing
How do you know I'm here?
How do you know I'm not?
How can you say I'm not?
You can't
I am nothing
I don't want to be something
I'm a faded memory in your head
I am just what you want me to be
I could be the girl walking in front of you
I could be a shadow
I could be the poem your reading now.
But I am nothing.
That's who I am and want to be.
