I Am Older

I am older now than yesterday
I am younger than tomorrow
The more I age the more I feel
The more I wake in sorrow

The thought of the loss
Of the end of the way
The thought of the loss
That grows stronger everyday

The end of the way
The beginning of the new
The end of the way
The way I feel for you

You made me lost
You turned me round
The darkness is my life
Alone is where I am found

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
