I am sorry

I'm sorry I have feelings,
I'm sorry I don't care.
I'm sorry for my styles,
I'm sorry for my ratty hair.

I'm sorry for my fat,
I'm sorry for my attitude.
I'm sorry for the way I laugh,
Because it's nothing like you do.

I'm sorry for the way I pop my fingers,
I'm sorry that I want a tattoo.
And I'm sorry for the three little words,
of I HATE YOU.

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
