I am thankful for my family
They are the best in the universe
I have my mom
she is one of a kind
We laugh a lot together it feels like I am
Being tickled by a feather
I have a dad
Who doesn’t live with us
I know it is kind of sad
He lives in another state
Which I hate
I have a sister too
She bugs me a lot I like to make her cry and go boo-hoo
We fight all the time
It won’t be forever
We are in a stage
My mom wants to put us in a cage
My grandma lives with us
She likes to cook
She asks us to help
We scream and say “yelp”
I have three cats
They are all a little crazy
I wish I was one, because they are lazy
I have an Aunt Lori
Who has three Dogs
I love them a lot
Even though ones a hog
I go places with her and
end up with lots of fur
I love my family
We have a lot of fun
We like to go to the beach
To hang out in the sun
We are ordinary people
Who like to sleep
Sometimes we have to count sheep
If I have a bad day
They are always there
My mom gives me a hug
To let me know she cares
Sometimes I feel like a squish bug
That is why I am here today
I am glad to say
To shout and say hey
Even though we sometimes fight
I want to knock them out of sight
I will always be greatful
And truly thankful
For my family.
