I Am The Lightning That Strikes Your Heart Poem by R. Ariffin

I Am The Lightning That Strikes Your Heart

Rating: 5.0

I am the lightning that strikes your heart
I am your eagle and your dove
I am the ocean of hope in your spiral truth
That floods your empty heart with love

I am the stone that weighs your reason
I am the plaster and brick in your wall
I am the stars that bask upon your twilight
I am the arms that embrace you when you fall

I am the thunder that wakes your conscience
I am zephyr that moves your raging sea
I am the lighthouse standing against your every storm
That lights your way back home to me

I can't believe this beautiful poem had no comments. Your poetry is like a lovely cove just beside a lighthouse, glowing from within a supernatural light, and lucky is the person who goes just far enough to find it. I love the recurring theme of the lighthouse in your writing.
