I Apologise Poem by Jason Garraway

I Apologise

If you study me closely you would realise
Honesty and sincerity can be easily recognised
So for every single man that has told you lies
I apologise, I apologise

I know that you’ve been a victim of a love crime
Memories of your heartache still plays on your mind
So for every single time a man has made you cry
I apologise, I apologise

I know what its like to be taken advantaged of and used
A venerable heart left open becomes a heart to be abused
So for all your wasted feelings I truly simpifise
I apologise, I apologise

I know you must had heard the words ‘I’m Sorry’ so many times
Nearly every man in the world is guilty of this crime
So for every meaningless ‘Sorry’ I’ll stand against them and testify
I apologise, I apologise
