I Asked A Poor Man Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Asked A Poor Man

I Asked a Poor Man

I asked a poor man,
Doesn't it feel sad to be poor?
He told me he had less worries.

I asked a rich man,
Doesn't it feel bad to be rich?
He said yes because I have too much to take care for.

I asked a middle income man,
How does he feel having just enough money,
And he answered, good, no excess, no worry.

I would wish to be the middle man.
