I Believe
I believe in Jesus Christ,
I believe in his sacrifice,
I believe he was the Son of Man,
I believe his death was part of Gods plan.
I believe that our Holy God exists,
I believe to this day, his love persists,
I believe he gave life to the universe,
I believe he loves us at our worst.
I believe we each betrayed his covenant,
I believe we’re all sinners, and must repent,
I believe we commit sin of our own free will,
I believe God loves us, even still.
I believe Satan is really alive,
I believe our society lets him thrive,
I believe the World is truly lost,
I believe Christ paid our cost.
I believe I am saved despite my sin,
I believe through Jesus, I'll be let in,
I believe in Heaven and in the horror of Hell,
I believe every story the bible did tell.
I believe that Creation really took seven days,
I believe that God blessed us in so many ways,
I believe our betrayal hurt him deeply,
I believe we must all come to him meekly.
I believe our Father wants us to all thrive,
I believe he can’t wait for me to arrive,
I believe he will ask me to join in His feast,
I believe I am the one who deserves it the least.
I believe.
