I Can Not Cry For You Poem by Roman Golubev

I Can Not Cry For You

I can not cry for you
My tears turned to stones
So heavy on my chest
I can not breathe.

So dreadful, painful death
My love is having
Along this one-way street
Leading away from you and me

I wish I had no past and no memories
That every corner keeps awaking
Futile and torturous are they
With you in them and me.

Long years of love can’t be forsaken quickly
Fifteen is such a nice and tender age!
How cruel is to die so young
With all that future undeservedly
Taken away from you and me.

My farewell dried out in the wind
Like screeching moan of a wounded sea-gull
I seek oblivion -
no return to days of fickle happiness,
where all the beach was just for you and me.
