I miss you.
But I can't go back,
My life's on track,
I can't mess it up now.
I wish I,
Could see you again,
Without second thought,
But it's never been so easy.

You know I,
Couldn't handle you leaving,
It's so deceiving how,
I thought we had it all.
We knew that,
Time wasn't on our side,
But we still tried,
And things haven't been quite the same...

I didn't wanna leave.
But I had to do what was best for me.
I had to go before I was in too deep.
I want you to know,
That even if times have changed,
I have to go.
I can't stay here,
I'm on my own.
I'm better off alone!

It's funny how I thought this was real.
I guess feelings really can disappear.
