I am numb
Why are you away?
I've got no one to turn to
How long am i to live like this?
I can't take this anymore.

Those words i said
Were just words
And yes they were meant to hurt you
But i'd take them all away now if i could.

Walking on this cobbled street
Alone.
Desperately crying.
Hoping that it's you i meet
I can't take this anymore.

Will you please come back to me
I'm screaming
Can you hear me?
I didn't mean those rotten words i said

Are you doing this to hurt me?
Cos babe it's working
I now know what you mean to me
