I Can Write The Happiest Verses Tonight
I can write the happiest verses tonight.
Write for example:
When the winter melts
And all its dew is cane,
When the summer sets
And all that's left is saunter,
I will love her still
As chrysanthemums need the rain.
Her's is not a sad love my dearest Pablo.
'I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too, '
Is all past love, and all untrue.
Her love is now, and now is forever true.
