I cannot say
Whispered threads torn in two
and fallen stars burn bright
long days streched out far
and pained memories remind me
of that night
when i said nothing
and lost everything
and now i cannot say it
cannot bear to utter those dreadfull words
the words that stole it all away from me
now they float away again
fluttering adrift among the wind's breeze
because i shall not say them again
i shall not break again
because saying them will tear me apart
because the words snatch my soul, my heart
and the people i love
so i shall not say the three words you beg
i cannot say
i love you
