'I Confess' Poem by Kevin Wang

'I Confess'

I confess
to love that girl
but its just too hard to flow with the river
as it sinks just so low

these words rusty in throat
putting all hands on deck to speak out
but only manage to worry about
cuz sometimes it's just too heavy to blow to doubt

wishing for the best
cuz only the best,
no, the universe's recognition is best for this girl
like the plans to work just as hard just for her

wish to talk with ease with flow like painting the skies with pink and red
but it's just as hard to say sorry
these 3 itsy bitsy words are only taken out like my breath
still trying to find that open window to fly into heaven's arms

still always daring to make that bet with a long shot
cuz i'm that boy who already blew too many chances
I just gotta pick up the pieces
fold this paper to make wings to find her

I could make a story
behind this veil of three words
but all I say is I confess
cuz thats all...how much I love her

take a deep breath
think with heart
and say the words of the worlds
of starting with “I confess”
