I Could Reach Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Could Reach

Rating: 5.0

I looked back
To find nothing at stake
It was time that played
For which I was dismayed

Time did not wait
I fought against fate
Survived cruelty
With the blessings from almighty

I still remember
And offer
My gratitude with thanks
Who helped me to think?

It was never a puzzle
I need not struggle
Friends stood by in real need
I too had no such greed

Today I am at zenith
Life may, at any time, finish
I have at least one satisfaction
I have enjoyed human relation

There was no poor or rich
Still without that feeling, I could reach
At the peak
With all that feelings to speak

Introspection KR BALAKRISHNAN17 minutes ago good poem.I consider this poet as a revolutionary poet in the sense that he has bravely adopted to create a robust structure in most of his poems, regardless of the theme dealt with. He has opened his own path of writing poetry, which has to be appreciated. Comment 0
