in a cave
i hid from the world
in a secret valley
i divulged everything
i lived in anguish
haunted by the past
i couldn't let go

i couldn't let go
words drove me insane
i kept hearin the words
which shattered my life into pieces
coming in slowly
then with a faster pace
i was broken

trepidation of loving
of caring, of loving
crept into my heart
loving too much was
what i learnt never to do
i no longer saw the need
to love because the thing or person you love the most
can disapper into thin air
without a ord of goodbye
