I Cried A Million Tears Poem by matt dahan

I Cried A Million Tears

I cried a million tears and each one told a story.
I ate a thousand hearts and they all started crying.
I killed a thousand screams and ran a thousand miles but the screams just don’t go away.
I wrote a million words down on a paper and ea word ended with I love you.
I sang a beautiful song and decided it was over but then I saw a little mistake and decided to start over.
I jumped over a building hoping I could fly but I fell to the ground and I didn’t even cry.
I would only cry if the screams were all gone because they hurt even more then the shot of a gun.
The pain you get from a punch or a kick will be gone don’t worry nothing some ice can’t fix.
But the pain from a scream is kept tight in a jar till the day the jar hits the floor and all the pain is released it feels like your about to unleash your inner beast.
The tears rush down like poring rain the pain you get well never be the same, but after an hour or two it all goes away you pick up your jar and you put it on your desk until the next time it falls.
