I'D Love To Hear From You Poem by Sherri Vogel

I'D Love To Hear From You

Paper and a pen
How easy it would be
For you to sit and write
A letter just for me.
And oh it can be short
Or maybe even long
Just a couple words
So I know what's going on.
Are you alive and living
And simply doing well
Or is something going great
You'd really like to tell.
You see I wouldn't bother
Or even write again
If I didn't sometimes wonder
'How You're Doing' 'How You've Been.'
You may not care about me
Or have the slightest clue
How often in my life
I'm thinking about you.
Is the postage to expensive
Is it too much to pay
'Cause if that's why your not writing
A stamp is on its way.
I'm sure you're really busy
But take a break or two
'Cause someone far away
Would love to hear from you.
