I'D Rather Be...
At times…
I’d rather be a beam
So sharp and focused
Tear the darkness
And hit the target
At times…
I’d rather be a flame
Burning myself
To wipe away darkness
That others might see
At all times, Lord…
I’d rather be in Your light
For without You
There’s no power
And I’m neither a beam, nor a flame.
