I Do Not Pity (Cavatina) Poem by Gert Strydom

I Do Not Pity (Cavatina)

I do not pity that darkness do come
at end of day,
nor flowers fading at the end of spring,
are swept away
by the coming of the new summer fruit,
loose you I may
with the summer sun in every kiss
when no other love could be just like this.
