I don’t know why I never told you I loved you
But I didn’t and for the life of me I can’t say why
And I did love you with all my heart unconditional
Although I never said it, you knew
And if you didn’t know then you do now
Why could I not say I love you?
Because I did and I never went with you
I know now I hurt you real bad
I wish I could take it back but I can’t
Three simple words and I could not tell you
Wish you was here so I can tell you but you already know
Dad I love you with all my heart and know thing will ever
Change that unconditional.
