I Dream Poem by Dianna Nally

I dream of the day that we can be alone
Alone in an empty meadow, just the two of us.
A quiet filled day, just playing around on the ground
Two lover's filled again with young lust.




I dream of a night in a quiet dark room
Two lover's together again
Like the first time you touched me
Almost as though you didn't know where to begin.

I dreamed of the day our first child was born
It was the the most beautiful thing in the world
I was proud to give you your first little boy
Even though the doctor said it was a little girl.

I dreamed of our children having children of their own
And our children made that dream come true
They gave us a boy and two beautiful girl's
And I wouldn't want to have shared these dreams with anyone but you.
