I Dream Of A World (Original) Poem by Denise Tuan

i dream of a world
where pain ceases to exist,
we don't fear of being hurt,
and our past is a happy reminisce.

i dream of a world
where hearts aren't broken,
or at least easily mended
like exchanging a dollar for tokens.

the dream of this world
will never be unfurled,
but we can try to make it real
because it's not that surreal.

all u have to do is...
heal the broken hearts
by putting together the parts
put the fear aside
get rid of all the lies
enjoy the happy times
look around and you may be surprised with what you may find
pick urself up from the horrible fall
and realize the world isn't so bad after all.
