I Dreamed Of... Poem by Majid Gaggi

I Dreamed Of...

I dreamed of you, my homeland

On your land I laid

Expand my body

And laid on its soil

So I smell it's fragrant and perfume

By your space and your sky

I covered

So I got your warmth and kindness

My body got rest

I no longer feel

Fear or cold

How not and I

In your laps I give up and lay

So l feel drowse

And to the king of sleep I bowed

Yes, I bowed and bent

So I sleep and sleep

In the early morning I dreamed of

Yes dreamed of you oh homeland

And I saw, yes I saw

A planet between planets

Shine and bright in the sky

Come from it light and brightness

This illuminates the Black Nights,

Norcia swim and fly in space,

Great and better spring in the desert

Melodious tunes hearing every morning and evening

Narcissus flower, Lilac and Henna

Love poem, and loyal

I said to myself

Behold homeland

Planet dominated and erases all the darkness

Illuminate the way of walking

Gull proclaim the reaching to the

Port of righteousness and safety

After a long absence and travel

Loaded with all the fatigue and trouble

Well good for each thirsty

That appealed for a drop of water

Melodious tunes for each dreamer

In the hope of life and hope

Healing all queer and puny

Perfume fragrant smells and exudes

From Each Flower and Rose

And your space will be filling with great smell

And paints a picture of you the most beautiful

In each plains, mountain, valley and hill

Love which kills all hate

Evil, and inconsolable

Good for you a merrier

Oh you all light and brightness

And good tunes

Perfume and love

Hey you

Patriotic

Oh

I
