I Drift

Today I am in pensive mood.
I walk about my day, drifting.
I do not know, or understand,
The circumstance that has brought me to this point.
But I am here, drifting-
I do not feel,
I am not aware.
I only exist, and that in thought.
I eat, I breathe, reflecting.
I do not know, or understand,
My being, here.
I drift.
