I Fall Prey Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Fall Prey

Rating: 5.0

I fall prey to natural beauty
I see the reflection of almighty
Feel so touched his grace
Delight can be visibly seen on face

Day begins with cuckoo’s voice
I pray almighty and renew promises
To remain as ordinary as possible
But fight it out with real struggle

How many people I come across?
Some try to be intelligent and prevail to cross
That keeps me alert all the times
As life can not be dreamed on easy lines

The life stands as vast spread ocean
It presents with blue water scene
So deep yet presents with dilemma
Person fails to think as if in comma

I claim to be no writer
But write about nature
With beautiful objects
With some of unknown facts

It worries me as an individual
I shall never take it as casual
Human race must thrive
And peacefully survive

No one bothers
Nobody is prepared to shoulder
The responsibility of keeping nature as beautiful
We may miss forever if remain unsuccessful
