I Feel Her Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Feel Her

As each steps echo
I find company of word" go"
That reminds me of future union
I love such companion

When hand in hand
I feel her as friend
But not until she says so
I shall wait and watch or go

River water reminds me
In direction and to be free
I shall never try to restrict or block
But see it not as locked

Why air and water should find restriction
It is open and known relation
Any one can breathe and proper
Enjoy freely and whisper

If I find no one
Then I shall prefer to be alone
Think for self and continue
To watch the world with point to view

I shall not dream or hope
As the height is steep with slope
I shall not succeed in attempt
Better I leave and contend with simple act
