I Finally Get It Poem by Regan Mackenzie

I finally get it
Why they often say
'it's hard for me to breathe'
I cant believe how thick the air is now
How heavy, stale and slow
I didnt know that it could really be so
'hard for me to breathe'
I knew for sure that I would miss you, yeah
But not to this extent
I didnt know till you were gone
How deep this love thing really went
But now I get it when they say the things they say when theyre in love
Because I say those same things too now, like
'youre all I'm thinking of'
And yes, youre all I'm thinking of
Before I sleep, when I wake up
Wether I'm in the house or out
Your all I ever think about
It seems to be just me and four walls
A few letters and collect calls
Waiting not so patient
Sitting by the phone to hear your speak
I finally get when they say that for their love
They get so weak.
Yes I'm so weak for you and wouldnt have it any other way
Because for once I finally get when they say
'I'm in love'
And yes
I'm in love. <3
