I Fly Forgetfully Poem by Rajendra padhi

I Fly Forgetfully

I FLY FORGETFULLY......

I fly forgetfully chasing the blue
A kite broken from the string,
Unfolded in the buoyant air
Search me in a space sublime,
Too small for such big things
A place within it so many stars,
Ran away from a city so real
Hugged in beauty and light
People are stars twinkle bright,
The words sparkle and glow
Never ending in flow like time,
Their roses of hearts so fragrant
The smiles queenly like moon
Wipe the dark in silvery rays,
I fly as a bird restless in space
Search a bough adorned green,
A traveller on roads of clay
So little my feet ceases never,
Flowers and thorns is life
Tears are healed in smiles,
Toiling like kite vaguely in flight
Tires me as I fall upon the street,
Children gather adoring my hues
An ocean of joy in little eyes.
