i didnt know where to go,
so i stayed alone here,
waiting for someone to rescue me.

no one came for me,
i wandered out alone,
and i found you.

a few were here before,
i found them once as well,
but none like you.

i feel free now,
my invisible chains lifted,
my happiness returned.

all because of you,
because you saw my tears,
and wiped them all away.

i smile now,
my hand in yours,
sitting here beside you.

i thank you,
you saved me,
but you dont know.

that if you hadn't cared,
and had simply walked away,
i wouldnt be here today.
