I Go On In Old Age Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Go On In Old Age

I go on in old age
I am going on
There is beauty and light and music and love
There is kindness and caring and faith
There is loyalty and trust
There is giving to others
And people who are truly good
I go on
There is much good in the world
There are reasons to go on
There is hope also
I go on
Despite all the pains and complaints and troubles and problems and fears and doubts
There is good in the world
And good people also
And love and caring
I go on.
