I Hate The Way You Are! Poem by Felix Lugo

I Hate The Way You Are!

First time we met we had fun, and laughs.
One day you gave me a weird look,
and you walked away.
I tried to stop you,
but you told me to get out of your face.
What did I do wrong?
Now you act like if I was nothing at all.
Every time I see you I try to hold in my pain of being
neglected.
I try to speak to you,
but you want me out of your way.
Self centered, immature,
and selfish.
Just because you’re beautiful
doesn’t mean I deserve to get treated this way.
I’m not a toy to be played.
All I’m asking is for your friendship.
Hopefully you’re finding out
that you are doing
a big mistake.
I’m not all that
if that’s what you expected from me.
I still think you’re
overreacting.
I thought you were a friend
A worthy person.

I hate the way you are with me
you treat me so wrong.
