I Have Been Angry With God
I have been angry with God,
Things did not go the way
I planned;
That was why.
I have been angry with God,
He did not observe my moods
But chose His own course;
As always.
I have been angry with God,
I felt betrayed and left alone
As he spurned my yearnings;
In preference to His.
I have been angry with God,
But not for too long
I understand His sovereingty;
And I repent.
