When I was young
all I did was search
for euphoria
and I wish that I did more
Sometimes things
don't work out
as planned
but there is no need to worry
I know that I don't worry
I don't worry about much
I wake up and know that
this mind of mine
is going to think new thoughts
These ears are going to hear new sounds
These hands are going to touch new things
That is all that I know
My memory isn't so great
I've had a rugged past
and it has affected my insides
I have done some pretty stupid things
