I have forgotten how to hate
I have forgotten bitterness
in distant days.
I am a globe trotter
moving from continent to continent
village to village, town to town,
city to city,
flying over rivers, waterfalls, gorges,
and marshy tracts of land,
passing through mountains,
tropical rain forests,
woods and jungles
as well as bushy thickets
enjoying the aerial views,
flying over valleys, moors,
dales, and cliffs,
deserts sands and dunes
oasis with sweet date palms
and water too.
Flying constantly
over the seas, oceans, bays,
islands and lagoons unknown.
I am a migratory bird
from the Polar region
moving in flocks
from horizon to horizon
enjoying, loving each other,
disseminating
the message of universal love.
Still I return to my native place
covering thousands of miles
in the same sky route
where I find solace and bliss
nestle there cosily with love,
though it is a no-man's land,
covered with snow all the time
only icebergs floating around
in the summer days,
Abode of the Almighty
where eternity pervades
all the time, day and night.
You have taken me by utter surprise. Then half way through, one realises what it is all about. I must congratulate you for such a great style of writing, Thanks, Sasanka. I am a migratory bird / disseminating / the message of universal love.

I would like to translate this poem
Initially I thought you must have had a ride round the globe. Only after reaching the middle of the poem, I came to realize that it is about a migratory bird....... Beautiful!
Thank you Madam George for your kind comment.
